Entry Requirements

What are the entry requirements for the Programme?

  • You have to be 18 by September 1st 2013.
  • You should have a keen interest in retail.
  • You should have plenty of energy, ambition, motivation and team spirit.
  • You will need a friendly positive attitude while interacting with people.
  • Where necessary, you must have a valid work permit and all relevent documentation.
  • In your Leaving Certificate, you should have a minimum of five passes at Ordinary Level including a C3 in Ordinary Level Mathematics and a D3 in either English or another language, and an overall minimum of 250 points.

Alternatively 

  • You should have a FETAC Level 5 full award or equivalent.
  • If you are 23 years of age and do not meet the minimum entry requirements from the leaving certificate or equivalent, you will be considered a mature applicant. Mature students are assessed on the basis of age, work experience and general educational standard.

I am sitting the LCA (Leaving Cert Applied) Can I apply?                                                                                                                                                            Unfortunately this certificate is not enough on its own to gain you entry on to the programme, however if you have a FETAC level 5 or equivalent or both we want your application.

I am sitting my Leaving Certificate exams this year – Can I apply?
YES! We want your application if you are finishing school or FETAC college this summer. The recruitment and selection process is on-going. Your enthusiasm, ambition and attitude to getting "stuck-in" are as important to us as your grades!

What happens after I send my application?
You will receive confirmation from us that we have received your application. We will then review all applications and begin a selection process. If your application is successful, you will be invited to meet us for a recruitment day and if successful then on to interview. If it’s your first interview – don’t worry – we simply want to get to know you more.
